The Onoway Museum is located in the Old Beaupre School, vacated as an elementary school in June 2007. Beaupre School, a two-room brick school built in 1921 beside the historic Lac Ste. Anne Trail, became a museum in 2007. The re-purposed classrooms now bring local history to life. One classroom is still a classroom; other themes include a typical country home, Main Street, community and farm life. Changing exhibits tell the story of everyday life in this part of north-central Alberta.

Archives collection has school registers from many one-room schools dating back to 1909.
Summer hours - May 15 - Aug 30, Mon - Fri, 10am - 3pm
Winter hours - Sept 1 - May 14, Tuesday, 10am - 3pm
School programs and guided tours are available throughout the year by appointment.
