EMR is a fencing club in NDG, Montreal, an 8 minute walk from Villa-Maria metro station. The club is directly accessible by buses 24, 102, and 138. Parking is also available on the nearby streets.

The club counts members of all ages (8 to 70+) from around the world. At the club, all three sport weapons (epee, foil and sabre) and traditional historical fencing are taught and practiced. Our programs include both standard fencing and modified.

We welcome fencers of all levels: whether it's for practice fencing or for lessons suited to your needs. We operate in both French and English, with a fully bilingual program. Our evening lessons are generally one on one with no age restrictions, however we do recommend that children under 15 join our after school program and that children much under 10 wait until student, parents and coach feel that they are ready.

Our Modified Fencing program on Sunday is geared toward people with physical disabilities or with limited mobility such as having difficulty standing for long periods of time. This version of the paralympique sport of Wheelchair fencing, is open to anyone who feels adapted fencing is better suited to their needs.
